Outdoor Education Centre

This is an optional feature to the Youth Summer Programme that offers a camping and canoeing experience at a traditional Canadian Outdoor Education Centre. It can also be a stand alone programme.

It is a magical combination of natural beauty mixed with learning, growing, being active and building friendships. The focus of this programme is to allow students the chance to experience nature through safe and enjoyable activities that encourage a connection to the outdoor environment.

Facilities include:

dining hall recreation hall waterfront arts and crafts centre sports field full classroom space

The programme includes:

accommodation in cabins qualified instructors 3 meals daily English instruction (optional) all activities bedding and laundry constant supervision transfers

Activities may include:

canoeing/kayaking swimming outdoor survival skills arts and crafts astronomy nature hikes bird watching campfires team sports nature studies water sports environmental projects
