Internships

Our NEW Cooperative Internship Programme combines English language studies with experience in the Canadian workplace. The word “cooperative” reflects the team-based relationship between the student, the language school and the host workplace organization.

This Internship programme is offered in Ontario and British Columbia. The first half of the 4 week programme is full-time intensive ESL classes offered at a partner language school in Toronto or Vancouver. For the remaining 2 weeks, students are placed in an industry that reflects their interests, previous work experience and educational background. They will be placed anywhere within 200km of the city centre.

Available in the Greater Toronto or Greater Vancouver areas

• 4week minimum duration
• 2 weeks ESL
• 2 week work placement
• Homestay Placement - All students are placed with a welcoming local host family who will provide a clean home, bedroom and meals.

Designed for post-secondary adults students seeking workplace experience and English language augmentation.

Internship Placements may include:
• Social Welfare and Community Service • Environmental Services - wildlife and nature preservation and conservation • Tourism and Hospitality • Education
other areas may be available
Pre-Internship ESL course is highly reccommended and can be completed at an MLI partner language school
